As summer comes to a close and the temperature in Buffalo gets too weird to survive outdoor pool weather (read: 80 degrees one day, 60 degrees the next), my husband and I usually turn to some sort of swim school or program to keep our son active through the winter months and working hard on those water skills. That being said, I was pumped to check out the Goldfish Swim School – located at 950 Transit Road in Williamsville. Here are my thoughts on this place (spoiler alert: I’m in love).
Special thanks to the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls for sponsoring this post!
Confession time: I’ve had a habit of buying clothes for future children since I was 18 years old.
I specifically remember heading into the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls and being compelled to pick up a baby’s faux leather jacket for just 0.99 cents. I know this may be strange to you, but the bargain hunter in me knew the best deals come with time!
All the women in my family would take the short drive to the Outlets for everything from back-to-school shopping or clothes for a new jobs to Black Friday deals and seasonal closet refreshers.
When I was pregnant with my second child, Charlie, I went to the new H&M opening there and came home with several bags of clothes for baby, my husband, 4-year-old Fox, and me. Since then I’ve been heading back routinely to shop for the whole family.
This back to school season is no different!
If you didn’t already know, we have quite a few food allergies in our household – my daughter is allergic to peanuts and my husband is allergic to eggs – which means baking often requires several substitutes to make things safe for everyone to enjoy. When Mother Nature’s Sugar reached out to us to send samples of their natural sweetener, I instantly jumped at the offer and started thinking of fun recipes to try with the kids.
Last night we had the pleasure of attending Disney On Ice: Worlds of Enchantment at KeyBank Center, thanks to tickets provided by Feld Entertainment. And today, we’re feeling extra thankful for a snow day to recover from all the excitement!
