My husband and I had a solid commitment/date night for Valentine’s Day this year: a fifth grade Operetta performance of “Cinderella’s Kids.” (Could anything be more romantic?!) So, when we were graciously invited to attend a painting session at Pinot’s Palette, the opportunity for a day date was too good to pass up!
Growing up, I never officially learned to swim. We lived in Queens, so the only swimming pool I had access to was the Atlantic Ocean, and with the strong riptides, it wasn’t a very safe place for a lesson. We would jump the waves, get pounded, and were able to make it to shore when we’d had enough, but you won’t see me in the deep end of a pool.
A few weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to check out the La Femme Expo in Buffalo with my mom and sister. This year was the 4th anniversary of the event, and I was excited to attend. If you’ve never heard of the event (I hadn’t!), it’s “an exclusive opportunity to shop and explore over 100 exhibits that are catered towards pampering, educating and celebrating women of all ages.” You can read more about the event on their website here.
